  • Fixierung einer Spalte im PMC

    Hallo in die Runde, wir nutzen firmenintern den Omnitracker und explizit das Project Management Center für unsere Arbeit. Leider haben wir in Abstimmung mit der IT-Abteilung beschlossen, nur die Software zu kaufen, auf einen zyklischen Support durch Omninet zu verzichten und lieber selbst Änderungen zu konfigurieren. Jetzt ist ein unbefriedigendes Thema / Problem, dass wir eine simple Fixierung von Spalten nicht bewerkstelligt bekommen, um im PMC beim Scrollen in Ansichten einen Anhaltspunkt (erste Spalte) zu behalten. Laut Aussage unserer IT ist so eine Fixierung nicht möglich, weil der Omnitracker ganzheitlich (also für alle nutzenden Firmen) diese Art der Darstellung nicht …

    Hallo zusammen, gibt es eine Möglichkeit einem server-side Script neben den für OtParameterSet angegebenen Datentypen (Empty, Boolean, Byte, Date, Double, Integer, Long, Single, String) auch eine Requestlist, einen Request Folder oder eine Variable vom Typen ParameterSet zu übergeben?

  • Asynchrones ausführen eines serverseitigen Scriptes

    Hallo zusammen, ich rufe in einer Form von mir ein relativ zeitintensives Skript auf das ich geschrieben habe. Ich bin gerade dabei dieses Skript als serverseitiges Skript neu zu erstellen um etwas Zeit zu sparen. Jetzt hat sich mir die Frage gestellt ob es möglich ist ein serverseitiges Skript aus meiner Form asynchron, also das in meinem Skript auf der Clientseite nicht gewartet wird bis das aufgerufene Skript ausgeführt wurde, aufzurufen.

  • Zugriff auf einzelne Einträge innerhalb eines „Memo – Time Stamped“ Feldes

    Hallo zusammen, ich stehe vor folgender Herausforderung: Ich habe mehrere Felder vom Typen „Memo – Time Stamped“ welche in unterschiedlichen Ordnern für eine Kommentarfunktion verwendet werden. Jedes Feld kann mehrere Kommentare beinhalten. Mein Ziel ist es jetzt in Crystal Reports eine zeitlich sortierte Auflistung der Kommentare aus den einzelnen Feldern zu erstellen. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit auf einen einzelnen Eintrag innerhalb eines  „Memo – Time Stamped“ Feldes zuzugreifen? Mir steht bei der Lösung auch die Möglichkeit zur Verfügung ein Post-Processing Script zu erstellen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Felix Herzog

  • Only the first line is included in comments.

    Hello, I’d like to process multiple tickets at once in the Omnitracker. So far this works, but I’m running into the problem that comments only take over the first line. It doesn’t matter if I use Notepad to remove the control indicators for line breaks or not. Is there a solution for this? Thanks a lot.

  • Create incidents using the web service calls

    Hello, I find it hard to get help or documentation about integration with Omnitracker using web service calls. I have the requirement to create incidents in Omnitracker from a custom program. Most ITSM platforms offer a REST API or a SOAP based API. Can someone please guide me how one can create incidents and attach files to incidents using some sort of (REST/SOAP) web service calls?     Hello, I have followed Help file about how to configure Web Service Provider Endpoint Mapping (REST) and REST at all.  But without success. Can someone help/guide me in the right way How to configure REST endpoint? If I understand it,  there are no defaults method like GetObjectByUID and Admins have to define each REST method to be able to call it. Thx //

  • Omnitracker new form editor – problem with saving size of control/ change color to custom one

    Hello, I use Omnitracker  ver.11.2. I have following problem – when I change size of control (width/height) or color of text to custom via Properties tab, after choosing different property ie.   • problem with email gateway

    Hello, I am trying to set up rule for incoming emails, such new RFCs are created. I set up autofilling of Responsible field to value of allowed usergroup in status =draft and rest of requied fields are filled from parsing structured email. New RFC should be created in status =Draft. According to workflow default Responsible user should be set up to current user. Unfortunatelly sent emails don’t create new RFCs. Error appears :invalid user assigned to Responsible in status workflow. Could you advice me what is the reason of this behaviour? What else should i check in ot? What causes …

  • Export or View a group by on a *..* relation

    Hi I’m trying to count RFCs associated with a specific CI but I’m not sure how. What I’m looking for is an export or view like this: Select CI.Title, Count(RFC.*) from ??? Group By CI.Title It would have been easy if it were a 1..*, 1..1 or a *..1 relation but as far as I can tell it a *..* relation which I do not know how to handle in OT. Pls.     Hi All. I am trying to select tickets within start/end date – and is getting a good result at that 😉 Trying to do a common copy/paste – some fields is pasted with unknown tags. (skipping a cell aso.) So, tried to do an Tasks /Export to CSV – and only getting headers. No data! Any options /tasks I am missing?
